I’m Yomi Olusunle, a UK based writer, brand strategist, communications professional and mental health advocate who holds a Master’s degree in Psychology. Around these parts, I am building a thriving community to empower people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures to build an authentic life filled with freedom, laughter and purpose.
AS FEATURED IN:
I am also the founder of ‘The Yommie’, a thriving community of 15,000+ individuals focused on empowering people to build authentic lives they are active participants in. In the past, my professional marketing experience has led her to working with various brands, stakeholders, outreach schemes and community organisations. I am very passionate about psychosocial wellbeing and demystifying mental health conditions especially within BAME communities both in the UK and globally. My other areas of focus include digital storytelling, employability, LGBTQ+ rights, diversity and inclusion.
I’m very big on bear hugs and mushy emails and when I’m not telling waiters ‘service charge should be free’, or planning my next romantic escapade, I’ll be telling African stories surrounding mental health, lifestyle and food.
This will be fun! Trust me.
